Events

Welcome to NCRF Events

You will find two types of events in this section:

Meetings for members. The NCRF membership typically meets in January, April, July and October. Our meetings offer a variety of quality information/education for our members and provide opportunities to connect with fellow total rewards professionals.

For 2021, meetings will remain remote, with more frequent sessions the remainder of the year. As a member, you may register on-line, no need to log-in first! Watch this page or for event emails, and join us to participate in informative session topics and with a great network of individuals.

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us via email info@nwcompforum.org. Registration closes EOB the Friday before any Wednesday meeting. You are eligible for a refund up to the Friday before the Wednesday quarterly meeting (3 business days).

You will also find the WorldatWork courses hosted by NCRF in this event section. NCRF members should login to this site to receive discount member pricing for the courses. Click here to learn more about all the benefits of becoming a member.

    • Building Resilience in Uncertain Times

As we know, you field multiple demands from employees, management, and other staff as well as from your children, your partners, your extended family, even your pets, often on an urgent basis. That can lead to chaos which leads to a host of other problems, including inefficiency, unhappy colleagues & clients, and a miserable you who’s on their way to burning - out. This session is designed to provide you with the foundation to stop, or at least slow, the spin-out. Together we will work through a Resiliency Framework: Management for Oneself, Management Over Response to Events and Management Over Interactions with Others and provide you tools in managing the chaos of these uncertain times.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

    1. Identify their strengths
    2. Use their breath to help stay calm under pressure
    3. Shift their perspective to one that is more positive and self-serving
    4. Name their support team to lean on in these times.
