    Position Summary:

    Responsible for a variety of technical and analytical classification and compensation activities related to the maintenance of HealthPoint’s compensation program. Also responsible for maintaining and ensuring consistent application of the HealthPoint’s classification standards for positions.  

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Review new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification. Based on position-specific information, determines if an existing description can be used for classification. As necessary, modifies and creates new descriptions that accurately reflect current roles, responsibilities and requirements.
  • Use published surveys to obtain and analyze market pay rates. Makes recommendations on appropriate pay grade level. Reviews recommendations within HealthPoint context for internal equity. Prepares reports on findings and handles administrative steps to formalize recommendations.
  • Review jobs for reorganizations, departmental reviews and projects, including both job audit and evaluation. Documents job-specific findings and recommendations to contribute to a comprehensive project report.
  • Work within HealthPoint’s systems and procedures, ensures all aspects of job creation are addressed in a timely manner i.e. creation of job descriptions, posting of new and revised descriptions, etc.
  • Conduct equity analyses to ensure fair and consistent pay practices across HealthPoint.
  • Develop and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide analytical support and data analysis on projects and human resource metrics.
  • Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of justice, respect, compassion, excellence and stewardship into appropriate programs and services.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university 
  • Three years’ of progressively responsible Human Resource experience in compensation in a healthcare setting; or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Leadership and/or project management experience
  • Proof of immunity to varicella, measles, mumps and rubella is a condition of employment. Prospective employees must provide proof at time of offer.
  • If you know about the following it’s a plus:
  • Demonstrate experience and delivering compensation reports and presentations
  • Advanced experience level ability with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.  
  • Advance experience navigating within an HRIS system(s) including report writing.  
  • PHR/SPHR/IPMA-HR or CCP certification preferred.
