Role Title:Compensation and Benefits Anaylst       

Department:  People Team

Reports To:   Director, People Operations 

Summary / Objective

Oversees the day-to-day compensation and benefits administration which includes work that is focused on assisting and advising team members and leaders with compensation and benefit questions, changes, enrollment process, eligibility, etc.  Provides consistent reporting on compensation and benefits related data and contributes to the People team scorecard.  The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will partner with the People Experience team to ensure all programs are in compliance with legal and other regulatory requirements. 

This role will report to the Director, People Operations and partner with international People Team members on benefits and compensation related topics as needed.

What You'll Do


  • Discusses and reviews final comp proposals with People team leaders for all team managers and below.
  • Maintains awareness of and audits compliance with all wage and hour regulations and mentors management in appropriate actions.
  • Supports Director, People Operations with the implementation and ongoing administration of all compensation initiatives including bonus programs, annual reviews, and staff costs planning.
  • Supports Identity Digital leaders by researching compensation issues.
  • Participates in annual market salary surveys for retail luxury and corporate markets.

Benefits & Leave:

  • Leads the administration of benefit programs, including enrollment, participating in audits and discrimination testing. Manages complex leave administration or benefit issues.
  • Partners with People Experience team, Legal, and Leaders on all ADA accommodations.
  • Leads the annual benefits Open Enrollment process for the US, and other international locations such as Canada. Ensuring documents are maintained in shared drive, HRIS is updated accurately, partnering with People Experience to update on the Intranet and other activities as needed.
  • Connects with employees and audits enrollment and eligibility reports.
  • Provides quality customer service to team members by answering benefit questions and resolving problems timely.

Systems & Reporting:

  • Coordinates People policies regarding administration, benefits, compensation, time away from work, etc.
  • Supports reporting requests and builds out monthly, quarterly, and annual scorecard.
  • Supports conducting people data audits and making recommendations for decreasing errors.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provides recommendations and educates user feedback for HRIS development projects.
  • Provides backup to other People team roles as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are / What You Bring

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist.
  • Experience with HRIS and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of compensation cycle management and all People practices.
  • Experience with job analysis and job evaluation systems.
  • Familiarity with current labor rules/regulations.
  • Familiarity with different kinds of benefits and incentive plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and ability to function independently.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization (when applicable).

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
