Compensation Analyst

Salary Range $63,000.00 - $72,000.00 Salary

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting compensation consulting services for Archbright members. An important aspect of the position will be participation in the analysis of member job descriptions and various compensation survey platforms to support the development of consistent and reliable product and service offerings, as well as delivery of member projects in scope, on-time, and meeting established quality standards. This position also supports the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) service through AAP plan creation. The work performed by the Compensation Analyst will provide key elements of our member Compensation and AAP deliverables which may inform member facing Pay Equity and Pay Transparency practices.

Typical work for a Compensation Analyst:

  • Executes non-executive member benchmarking work through analysis of job summaries and job matching using various compensation surveys

  • Executes non-executive member geographic differential analysis for pay across different locations/regions

  • Applies knowledge regarding the development of job architecture related to job families and job levels based on member need

  • Supports the development of base pay structures and job grading for member projects

  • Supports the Sr. Compensation Consultant in other phases of compensation projects such as philosophy development and communication plans

  • Supports the Sr. Compensation Consultant in both Archbright and custom survey development

  • Performs analysis and creates Affirmative Action plans

  • Seeks to learn, understand, and work with additional service lines to provide support as necessary

  • Participation in key Archbright and Member Services team meetings

  • Potential to be assigned other HR Consulting projects such as job description creation or review

  • Other duties as assigned

    You'll have:

  • 2-3 years’ compensation and/or analyst experience either as part of an HR or Compensation position

  • Experience creating and revising job descriptions as part of an HR or Compensation position

  • aPHR or PHR Certification at time of hire or within 1 year of employment Would be nice to have:

  • 1 year consulting experience

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), PHR, SHRM-CP
