Benefits Administrator 

Location: HealthPoint Administration 
Employment Type: Full-time; 40hrs/week

Position Summary:
Administer HealthPoint’s health and welfare, retirement, wellness and federal and state loan repayment programs. Administer federal and state leave programs.  


Your contribution to the team includes: 
• Partner with Talent Management leadership in the design, build and implementation of total rewards programs that attract and retain employees.
• Plan and facilitate education, onboarding and enrollment of employees into HealthPoint’s comprehensive health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, including comprehensive communication plans, key messages and education materials.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of employee benefit elections and changes.
• Respond to employee inquiries and coordinate with benefit carriers and brokers to address and resolve employee benefit needs.
• Accountable for planning and managing the annual employee benefit open enrollment processing in partnership with the HRIS Analyst, brokers and carriers.
• Coordinate with HRIS Analyst and Payroll team to ensure HRIS system is accurately processing benefits transactions and deductions.
• Reconcile monthly benefit statements for audit and payment. 
• Maintain all health and welfare, and retirement plan documents for compliance and historical information.
• Research and monitor benefits laws and trends to inform benefit design and policy decisions.
• Responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, marketing and evaluation of HealthPoint’s employee wellness program. Partners with the wellness program leader to develop outcome measures, evaluation tools and protocols for wellness programs. Supports committee facilitation, portal administration and incentive distribution.

Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university in HR or related field; three (3) or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Experience administering health and welfare and retirement programs, administering employee benefits in a cloud based HRIS system and knowledge of COBRA requirements required. 

If you know about the following it’s a plus:
• Experience with leave administration for federal and state leave laws and knowledge of self-funded benefits programs preferred.
• PHR, SHRM-CP or CEBS preferred.
