    ABOUT THIS POSITION:

    As part of the Member Services group, the Compensation Consultant provides compensation and benefits projects for member companies. It will also play an integral role in the design and analysis of our compensation and benefits surveys including compensation surveys, benefits & policies surveys, executive compensation surveys, and all custom surveys.

    This is a full-time exempt position. Local travel is required to member locations.

    Typical assignments for Compensation Consultants:

  •  Responsible for executing compensation & benefits projects – in scope, on-time, hitting quality targets 
  • Conducts job evaluation as appropriate
  • Applies expertise and experience regarding pay equity throughout compensation work
  • Leads the design and data analysis for all compensation & benefits surveys  
  • Conducts onsite member visits as needed for project work 
  •  Participates in scoping calls, finalization of comp work through proposal stage
  • Attend and participate in regional compensation groups/forums 
  • Speaks on compensation related topics at Archbright member events and other events

You’ll need to have:

  • At least eight years of compensation experience
  • Two years consulting experience preferred
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis (Descriptive Statistics)
  • Ability to present to small and mid-sized groups 
  • Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines 
  •  Current Certified Compensation (CCP) Professional Certification highly preferred 
  •  Valid WA State Driver’s license
