    The Compensation Insights & Analytics Manager is responsible for leading market and internal research analytics efforts for enterprise-wide compensation programs and participates in the implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies to support T-Mobile’s business strategy.

    What you’ll do in your role.

    • Development of new tools, dashboards and analytics for Compensation team.
    • Performs complex ad hoc compensation analysis, reports, recommendations, data audit as requested by compensation leaders. This role will work regularly with large internal and external data sets, and partner with stakeholders to discuss/interpret findings. May be responsible for system maintenance related to compensation functions; proactively ensures compensation data integrity.
    • Provide leadership and support to compensation data systems and initiatives including but not limited to job reviews, market research and benchmarking, salary survey management and administration, market pricing tool management, and location factor review.
    • Engagement on priority and challenging Director through VP offers, job reviews, promotions and ad-hoc confidential requests assigned by compensation leaders. Work to gain alignment with different constituencies and represents a common point of view across multiple stakeholders.
    • Ad hoc research, reporting & analytics, data quality initiatives, and special projects as needed.

    The experience you’ll bring.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance, Human Resources or other related discipline.
    • 5-7 Years’ experience in Compensation 
    • Experience managing projects
    • Advance experience in Reporting and Analytics
    • 5 years’ experience working in a Compensation function 
    • Deep knowledge of developing tools, dashboards and reporting 
    • Proven history in Analytics and modeling

    Total Rewards Manager – Compensation

    Some of what you'll be doing:

    In this role, you will manage the planning , implementation and on-going administration of various Total Rewards (TR) programs focusing on Compensation programs for non-represented employees. You will assist with the strategic management of the Port’s Total Rewards program and ensure they are consistent with Port goals and objectives, the Total Rewards Philosophy, the Compensation Philosophy, Port policies and program documents.

    • You will manage the job evaluations program for non-union employees and other TR related projects, including providing leadership to assigned direct reports and assigning project managers specific evaluation projects.  
    • You will leverage systems and tools, including, salary surveys and market pricing technologies, as well as other technological systems, in support the ongoing maintenance of the compensation program. You will identify emerging methods and best practices in order to recommend changes that keep our program in line with our Total Rewards Philosophy.
    • You will oversee the Port’s Pay for Performance (merit) program for non-union employees by analyzing and recommending average increases and increase guidelines to be leveraged during the Port’s annual budgeting process.
    • You will lead a team of employees through managing performance expectations, supporting development goals and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve TR and Human Resource (HR) departmental goals.
    • You will serve as part of the HR Extended Leadership Team (ELT), partnering with colleagues to advance the strategies and initiatives of the broader HR department.
    • You will partner closely with the Labor Relations (LR) department on market analysis and provide data in support of the collective bargaining process, led by LR. 
    • You will provide guidance and direction to the administration of other TR programs including Employee/Retiree Recognition, Tuition Reimbursement, LEOFF 1 healthcare claims reimbursement and the annual Salary & Benefits Policy Directive update. 
    • You will partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to align pay administration and job evaluation processes with ongoing efforts in these teams.

    Who you are:

    Two years of experience may be substituted for one year of education:

    • Experienced – You have eight (8) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience with an emphasis in one or more Total Rewards functions to include employee compensation. Additionally, you have at least one (1) year of staff leadership experience coaching and developing employees. 
    • Educated – You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field. 
    • Desired – We hope you have additional experience with other Total Rewards areas as well as prior work experience at both public and private sector employers. We also hope you possess certifications with WorldatWork (CCP or CBP), the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans (CEBS), or the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)/ Human Capital Institute (PHR or SPHR). 
    • Leader – You are an effective leader who knows how to effectively leverage and motivate your team to balance priorities and delegate work as appropriate. You are a coach and mentor who is committed to staff development through the enhancement of skills and abilities.
    • Effective Communicator – You have strong interpersonal skills including proven effective written and verbal communication. You are an experienced presenter who uses your active listening, persuasion and negotiation skills to get your point across.
    • Compensation Expert – You have a deep understanding of compensation and total reward theories, methodologies and best practices. You have a strong grasp of the laws and regulations that affect pay programs and have knowledge of merit, market pricing and TR surveying techniques.
    • Analytical – You can effectively research and analyze issues, requests and situations using your numerical, statistical, and situational skillset in order to balance decisions that are in the best interest of both the organization and employees. You are a holistic thinker that recognizes the impacts both short and long term.
    • Agile/Flexible – You know that responsibilities and priorities change that require you to adapt quickly.     What else you need to know: 

    • Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role. 
    • Work Environment – This role will be primarily conducted remotely in accordance with the Port’s Flexible Work Arrangement policies during the Covid-19 pandemic. It may transition to primarily working in an office environment post pandemic.  
    • Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle.  If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.

    JOB TITLE: Total Rewards & Compensation Manager 

    REPORTS TO:  VP, HR

    FLSA: Exempt 

    As Funko’s Total Rewards & Compensation Manager, you will manage and coordinate the development, administration, execution and analysis of reward programs. You will be the primary resource to drive projects related to analysis and development of compensation programs to include long- and short-term incentive plans.


    What You’ll Do:

    • Manage and administer components of total compensation to include salaries and bonus programs and long- and short-term incentive programs at all levels.
    • Identify areas of opportunity within current programs and plans, develops, evaluates, improves and communicates methods and techniques for compensating employees.
    • Partner with HR team members to develop and rollout incentive programs that motivate, engage and attract talent in the workforce.
    • Analyze new and existing programs to recommend solutions and ensure benefits provide value to employees, with a focus on labor market attraction and retention.
    • Document compensation administration practices and system procedures focusing on best practices.
    • Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation and pay equity.  Engage in pay equity analysis to ensure equal pay practices.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for all required reporting, filing and notifications. Make recommendations regarding compensation program and benefit plan development. 
    • Research, analyze and establish salary ranges and wages for all roles within Funko.
    • Partner with Human Resources teams and hiring managers to create compensation targets for new or replacement positions.
    • Partner with Senior Leadership to facilitate annual merit increases.
    • Partner with HR team members to implement information systems benefits program upgrades and implementations.
    • Identify and research changing compensation laws and provide recommendations on next actions.
    • Identify and resolve issues related to compensation programs and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
    • Active member and facilitator for 401(k) and compensation committee.
    • Act as a subject-matter expert on all compensation matters.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, and at least six years of experience and/or training are required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  HR industry related certification(s) are a plus.
    • Must have strong experience managing and coordinating the administration, execution and analysis of a broad range of employee benefit programs.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of compensation practices.
    • Experience utilizing HRIS systems, Ultipro experience is preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
    • Strong results orientation and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and changing priorities.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge in global benefits and market leading practices in both the US and non-US.
    • Demonstrated success managing global projects in a high-growth company; experience in startups and companies known for innovative practices preferred.
    • Exceptional business insight and analytical skills, with a proven ability to rigorously measure and analyze the right things to meet business objectives and improve effectiveness.
    • Transparent and high integrity communication style, with the ability to both empathetically listen and to simply and clearly communicate sophisticated concepts.

    Responsibilities:

    Systems (administration, auditing & data stewardship)

    • Responsible for systems administration for Qumulo’s People Team systems,
    • Recommends and implements new systems configurations and partners across the organization to define dependencies.
    • Builds and manages systems documentation,
    • Conducts monthly and quarterly audits to ensure data is complete and accurate within and across systems (BambooHR, Employee Navigator, and ADP); researches and resolves any data discrepancies identified,
    • Prepares data from salary surveys for use in other tools or systems,
    • Partners with the Finance and Recruiting teams to track new and existing job family IDs to support Qumulo's equity compensation program.

    Compensation (analysis & research)

    • Contributes to the semi-annual compensation planning cycles,
    • Leads annual salary survey submissions; to include compensation data and practices surveys,
    • Assists annually with updating global salary structure,
    • Assists with administration and calculation of incentive and recognition bonus payouts,
    • Maintains a tracker of minimum pay (e.g., US hourly non-exempt & salaried exempt) for all locations where Qumulo has employees; ensures alignment of this information within our systems and recommends improvements,
    • Researches domestic and international compensation practices (e.g,. car and other allowances, on-call pay, merit and promotion budgets, and other evolving topics of interest).
    • Supports Qumulo’s equity compensation program administration.

    Reporting

    • Prepares quarterly metrics and DE&I reporting (uses Excel and Tableau),
    • Prepares and submits EEO reporting (Federal & California); audits and updates employee-level EEO data,
    • Prepares monthly accruals for bonus and incentive programs,
    • Recommends and develops new people team reporting as business needs evolve.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy.
    • Ability to see beyond the issue at hand, identify dependencies, and recommend alternative solutions.
    • Intellectually curious; seeks new information to deepen own knowledge and then shares with others.
    • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced nested formulas, charts, etc.
    • Data visualization using Tableau and experience with Excel's PowerBI/Query/Pivot (preferred)
    • Transparent communication style,is an empathetic listener and can also simply and clearly communicate sophisticated concepts.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer first approach, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to research and resolve novel scenarios.
    • Thrives in an environment where you can create, build, learn and iterate to grow and improve. 
    • Understanding of the impact of changes  across multiple programs and teams 
    • Willingness to dive-in and assist with people team projects that may be outside of one's comfort zone (e.g., benefits open enrollment or year-end payroll process auditing).
    • 3 or more years of direct experience with compensation, HRIS/systems, reporting, or another relevant business function
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related area, or equivalent knowledge or working experience complementary to this role.
